Крестный путь - дорога страданий - Ви́а Долоро́за (лат. Via Dolorosa, букв. «Путь Скорби») — улица в Старом городе Иерусалима, по которой, как считается, пролегал путь Иисуса Христа к месту распятия.
Каждый христианин, прибывающий в Иерусалим, старается побывать на этой улице и пройти этот путь. Суть и духовная сторона этой традиции - дать прочувствовать верующим и лично пережить все то, что выпало на долю Иисуса Христа.
Проникновенная песня "Via Dolorosa" исполняется в этот день на многих языках, в том числе и на английском.
